Search for Answers

My mind is full of questions and it constantly seeks answers. Looking for answers could be very exhaustive.
This part of Richard Norgaard preface for his book Development Betrayed, resonates so much which how I have been feeling recently:

"While my research for coherence has led to fewer and fewer answers, I have become increasingly comfortable without them. In place of answers, I have developed an even greater faith in thinking. More importantly, I better understand the importance of sharing. [...] I do not think any one way of thinking will ever be right. Indeed, right thinking is a wrong concept."

Richard Feynman, used to mention in one of his lectures, "Universe is like a chess game which gods are playing, and we don't know the rules" he then goes on to say that there are three ways to try to understand the rules, first is to observe a corner where few elements are at work. then there are the general theorems, but the general theorems don't point out the rules, where they go wrong (borhane kholf) is where we can find new rules, and the final way is of course approximation..(not bad for a physicist, huh?) however merely knowing the rules does not mean that we know how to play...and well underneath these all there is only one through way: thinking and deduction......

Hum...I think I got a bit lost there, what was the subject again? :D

something rather irrelavant...

The indians (ok...native americans!) had an old saying "We have not inherited the earth from our fathers, we have borrowed it from our children"
